DRC Holds Sixth Annual Client Conference February 23-25

DRC held its Annual Conference for current customers last week in Waikiki  

HONOLULU, HI – March 4, 2010

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a rating and policy processing software solution provider to the property & casualty insurance industry, today announced a successful 6th Annual Client Conference.  Held on February 23-25 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki in Honolulu, HI, the conference gave attendees a chance to interact with other DRC customers while learning about recent and future enhancements to the DecisionMaker Suite of products for policy administration.  This year’s attendees included industry analysts from Celent and Novarica along with DRC partner, HP Exstream.

Building on the theme from DRC’s last major conference, this year’s “Solutions at the Speed of Business” theme, emphasized DRC’s ability to put innovative and powerful tools in the hands of their clients so that they are able to directly manage their portfolio of insurance products, resulting in lower cost and shorter time to market.   Several sessions reinforced this theme and the industry focus on SaaS, “cloud computing” and “grid enabling” with information on how DRC will incorporate this technology in an upcoming release.  These innovations will provide greater scalability and flexibility for DecisionMaker as these frameworks gain acceptance in the industry.

The conference agenda included keynote presentations by the industry analysts, product sessions for DecisionMaker Suite, Rating and Portal, a customer case study presentation, an industry panel and a customer panel discussion.  “Our conference promotes valuable interaction and collaboration that would be difficult to duplicate on a large scale” commented Karen Yamamoto, Executive Vice President at DRC.  The last day of the conference was reserved for individual product workshops available for current DecisionMaker customers.
