DRC announced the success of the company’s fourth Annual Client Conference, Systems at the Speed of Business.

HONOLULU, HI – March 26, 2008
Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a rating and policy processing software solution provider to the property & casualty insurance industry, today announced the success of the company’s fourth Annual Client Conference. Held February 25th and 26th at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii, the event gave attendees the opportunity to share their respective DRC experiences and tips while learning more about the company’s products and future product plans.
With the conference theme Systems at the Speed of Business, DRC hosted 32 attendees as well as representatives from industry partners.
DRC’s Regional Sales Manager Don MacFarland opened the conference, with the company’s President Dr. Walter Simmons welcoming the group and thanking them for their participation and continued support.
Conference highlights include:
- A keynote presentation from Chad Hersh providing his invaluable insight regarding insurance industry trends and the impact on business and technology decisions and implementations;
- An annual update on the state of the company, clients, and partners, and a series of sessions to provide attendees greater insight into DRC’s recent product enhancements and future product plans;
- A Systems at the Speed of Business discussion with panel members: John Elcock of Unitrin Direct, Bill Caldwell of Countrywide Insurance Group, Bill Marr of DTRIC Insurance, as well as Chad Hersh;
- Client case study presentations; including Jennifer Bailey and Tim Van Steenburgh of Tower Hill Insurance Group discussing their DecisionMaker Rating implementation, and George Lucas of DTRIC and John Elcock of Unitrin Direct reviewing their evaluation and selection processes that contributed to their selection of DRC’s DecisionMaker;
- Ryan Busing of Exstream Software demonstrated the company’s Dialogue Engine working with DecisionMaker; offering the insurance industry a complete policy administration and documentation solution.
