HONOLULU, HI – December 3, 2008
Decision Research Corp. (DRC) today announced that DTRIC Insurance Company is now in production with DRC’s DecisionMaker Policy Administration System. DTRIC has implemented DecisionMaker for its workers’ compensation and personal umbrella lines of business.
Selected in large part due to its flexibility and support of speed to market, DecisionMaker enables DTRIC’s business users to manage product development, changes, and enhancements to its rating and underwriting rules without heavy reliance on the IT organization, typically required with other policy administration systems.
To better support workers compensation, DecisionMaker was augmented with additional features to further automate the underwriting process and support the NCCI rating and stat reporting data capture. DecisionMaker supports a single point of entry for rate, quote, and policy issuance. Automated interfaces have been implemented between DecisionMaker and DTRIC’s current NCCI/ISO stat reporting and claims processing. DTRIC has also implemented DecisionMaker Billing which facilitates accurate, secure, timely billing and commission handling, and plans to integrate the soon-to-be-released DecisionMaker Reinsurance reporting module.
