HONOLULU, Hawaii October 27, 2003 -- Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. announced today that V1STA RateMaker, a state-of-the-art rating engine from Decision Research Corporation (Honolulu, HI) has been implemented on both of Arrowhead’s Internet portals, Arrowhead Exchange and Youzoom. “We are pleased to work with a vendor that has been so responsive to our immediate needs” says Stephen Boyd, Vice President of Information Systems at Arrowhead. “One of our main objectives in partnering with DRC was to get a solution to market as quickly as possible. RateMaker compiles the Rating and Underwriting logic into a service suitable for integration with other programs. By leveraging the work completed by the rate analyst, the Arrowhead team was able to build, integrate, and deploy a select set of Personal Auto and Personal Property products in just a matter of weeks.
