Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a software solutions provider, is looking to hire a mid-level Quality Assurance professional with a strong Insurance background.
DRC is a leading provider of software business solutions within the global Property & Casualty insurance marketplace. DRC’s products include of Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, Agent/Consumer Portals, Business Intelligence, and Mobile Applications. The successful candidate will be task oriented, driven to succeed and a team player.

Responsibilities and Duties include:
-Collaborate with the project teams to define and manage the test strategy
-Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify defects

Accounts Payable Clerk

Decision Research Corporation (“DRC”) is a leading technology company specializing in the insurance industry. DRC is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii and has a sister office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

DRC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Professional to assist with General Ledger (GL) accounting efforts. This is a new role at DRC, as we have grown significantly over the past five years. This position will report to the Assistant Controller. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive accounting professional who is willing to adapt to new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Assisting with payables, including invoice entry, vendor outreach, etc.
-Reviewing and entering employee expense reports
-General GL accounting
-Timesheet administration
-Account Reconciliations
-Generating and distributing employee timesheet reports

Project Manager / Scrum Master

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a software solutions provider is looking to hire a Project Manager / Scrum Master for our Philadelphia office. Ideal candidates must possess a solid understanding of the technology and platforms available in the P&C Insurance industry, specifically billing systems, knowledge of the insurance vertical and its rating and policy administration solutions. Must be skilled in working within a business group to understand and interpret workflow and business rules. Effective oral & written communication skills are essential, position will entail drafting process design, business rule, and requirements documents. Must be able to plan and direct analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Primary duties include:
-Identify and analyze client’s business functions in order to develop clearly defined requirements for billing systems. Document use cases, process flows, data flows and report mock-ups

Senior Software Engineer

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a software solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its software solutions. Locations of Philadelphia, Los Angeles or Honolulu are preferred but not required. Remote possible for a candidate who has proven history of productive remote working with demonstrable references.

This position is responsible for a variety of software design and development tasks for new/existing web based commercial software systems. This role with have a primary assignment of supporting the Client Services implementation and support teams by leading the customization and configuration of DRC’s core software products for its clients. This position will also participate with the core development team in the design of new products, capabilities, and features of DRC products.

Primary Duties
-Perform analysis, design, development, unit testing and implementation of software using C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, MVC Design Pattern, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, AJAX, and XML.
-Ensure software solutions are architecturally sound and highly performant on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
-Serve as mentor and lead for junior technical staff through collaboration, code review and extemporaneously assisting others.
-Partner with lead application architect for design and implementation consistency across the DRC client base.
-Elicit, understand, and document complex business processes and translate them into solutions.
-Collaborate in design meetings with business/application owners, subject matter experts and end users.

Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a software solutions provider is looking for energetic, fast learning, and qualified individuals to join our team as an application developer. This is a full-time position in our Honolulu, HI office.

DRC uses a number of various programming languages and technologies, including Microsoft .NET. Qualified applicants should be able to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary and demonstrate during the interviewing process their proficiency with the technologies below. Experience working in teams developing enterprise commercial grade transactional software systems a plus.

Primary Duties:
-Develop, test, and debug enterprise software solutions.
-Adhere to all development standards.
