Philadelphia, PA – June 21, 2018
Decision Research Corporation (DRC), a technology leader specializing in digital insurance solutions for the P&C insurance industry, today announced greatly expanded international support for any ISO 639 language code. Clients in Belgium, Ireland, Australia, Canada and the US are already leveraging this new functionality to expand their distribution and marketing reach.
DRC Quote, Rating, Policy, Billing and Claims solutions allow languages in addition to English to be set up based on the preferences of different brokers and underwriting users. Users may select a default language and regionalization code through personalized settings and add additional languages to support business operations across multiple languages and currencies.
This enhanced functionality allows users to produce correspondence and policy documents in a preferred language or in multiple languages at once. This capability furnishes greater flexibility to users who are bi- or tri-lingual and prefer to speak in one language while reviewing legal documents in another.
“Offering programs to a multitude of target markets, without forcing a common language provides a dramatically more versatile and positive user experience. This capability allows our customers to sell and service their products in regions that were previously inaccessible or relegated to manual workarounds,” said Karen Yamamoto, President of DRC.
“We are pleased to offer our clients the ability to roll out their products and programs to new countries as we continue to enhance our digital solutions for today’s global marketplace. This recent success further extends the capabilities of our platform and our commitment to fulfilling the evolving needs of our clients,” said Les McElhaney, Vice President of Product and Technology at DRC.
