Through DRC’s Annual Internship Program, interns directly contribute to DRC’s product functionality. The fresh perspective, creativity, innovation and technical skills will directly benefit the challenging problems DRC solves for clients and the industry. Students gain real world development experience and build lasting relationships networking with industry professionals. In addition, our internship program is paid and lasts eight to ten weeks from June to early August.
Applications will be accepted from September 22 to December 31, 2023 with interviews to follow in mid-January 2024.

Qualifications
– Authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship in the future
– Enrolled as student in good standing with a preference for Juniors or Seniors
– Major aligned to technology such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or Marketing
– One year work experience (work, school or student activities, volunteer, extracurricular, )
– Understanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
– Exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET, or JavaScript
– Ability to evaluate security practices and suggest enhancements
– Understanding of marketing concepts, as well as research and analytical skills
– Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
– Sharp verbal and written skills
– Ability to drive to deadlines while maintaining quality and completeness
– Ability to take direction and/or work with minimal supervision

How should I prepare for the interview?

If hired, what programming languages will interns be using?
Varies depending on your project but common languages we use are C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, T-SQL, Azure libraries such as AI/ML along with MVC and Services patterns.
If hired, what projects will I be working on as a Marketing intern?
Marketing interns work on a marketing campaign that incorporates pre-planning and research, actual campaign implementation, and post-implementation analysis.
Is there an opportunity for the internship to continue past the 8-10 weeks?
Depending on the project availability and mentorship availability the internship could continue past the 8-10 weeks.
Is the internship paid?
Yes, as an intern you will be paid on an hourly basis and will be working 40 hours a week.
As an intern are we exposed to company events outside of the office?
Yes, as an intern you will be able to participate in our annual summer picnic event and CSR program where we volunteer and help the community.
Does DRC reimburse me for transportation cost?
Yes, DRC will reimburse you for a bus pass or pay for your parking in our structure for the duration of the internship.
