DRC is proud to have the opportunity to support Kids’ Chance of Hawai’i at HEMIC’s Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament last week. Kids Chance of Hawai’i is a local organization dedicated to providing scholarships to children of Hawai’i workers who have been catastrophically or fatally injured on the job. Formed just over a year ago, it became the 42nd member of Kids’ Chance of America, and while not the newest, the Hawaii community pulled together making it the quickest to organize and award its first scholarship. For DRC, it’s always a pleasure to serve and be able to give back to our community.

DRC’s Rob Whitton and Paul Chinen had a great time teeing off 18 holes with Karlyn Carnahan and Chuck Smith from Celent. The rest of the team greeted golfers from the local insurance industry on the course and nourished them with spam musubi and fried noodles to snack on as they went through the course.

Mahalo to HEMIC for another successful tournament and to Kids Chance of Hawaii for making a difference in our local community.
